Joe Bonamassa From their press release:
Award-winning blues rock star, guitar hero and singer-songwriter Joe Bonamassa and his ace
touring band will perform in concert. The one-night-only show is in support of his
upcoming album Black Rock, to be released on Bonamassa's J&R Adventures label
in early 2010. Bonamassa averages 200 shows every year, almost always playing to sold-out
and ever-larger houses, and with each gig, he comes into his own as a virtuoso and a
vocalist. The Washington Post's Mike Joyce cites his "wicked guitar
thrills," and British journalist Pete Feenstra wrote of a BBC Live
performance that, "he is both as eloquent and learned about the music he plays as he
is technically brilliant." Guitar icon Ted Nugent has said, "This kid deserves
to be in the same class with Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jimi Hendrix and Jeff Beck."

Jackson County Community Concert Association -
Trio Voronezh
From their press release:
Trio Voronezh's astonishing virtuosity and delightful artistic innovation gives the trio
the ability to alter the way audiences experience classical, folk and contemporary
repertoire. Discovered playing Bach in a Frankfurt, Germany subway station, Trio Voronezh
has since made several tours of the U.S., and earned audience and critical praise. Don
Heckman of the Los Angeles Times beautifully sums up a performance: "The traditional
pieces soon brought the crowd to life, clapping enthusiastically as the rhythms
accelerated and Volokhin's fingers flew across his domra. Petrukhin, his body moving in
sync with his deep bass notes, and Teleshev, magisterially pulling everything together
within the lush sounds of his bajan, completed the picture -- three players, alone on a
large open stage, filling every crevice with their rich, imaginatively conceived
music."

Hairspray
A giddy, irreverent, uplifting, lovable hoot of a musical! A
runaway smash on Broadway, Hairspray cleaned up at the 2003 Tonys, capturing eight awards,

sounds of 60s pop and Motown, Hairspray tells the story of Tracy Turnblad, a chubby,
eternally optimistic big-haired girl who defies the odds at every turn, earning a coveted
spot on the Corny Collins dance show, winning the affections of a beyond-popular hunk,

over Buffalo
This backstage farce by the author of Lend Me a Tenor tells the story of Charlotte and
George Hay, an acting couple who are not exactly the Lunts.
While on tour in Buffalo in 1953 in Cyrano
de Bergerac (the revised, one nostril version) and Noel Cowards
Private Lives, fate give these thespians one more shot at starring roles in the movie
version of The Scarlet Pimpernel. And director Frank Capra (gasp!) is en route to
Buffalo to catch their matinee performance. A valentine to theatre hams everywhere!
